Neither is a child going to respond to us if we seem too tired or too timid to enforce the rules we expect them to follow. When it comes to enforcement, we parents have to be convincing. Unfortunately many of us parents don't know how to clearly demonstrate to our children that we really mean it. We don't know how to get our children to do what we want them to do...
